How to download a playlist
- Open the playlist itself and copy the URL containing its
listidentifier. - Paste the URL into Vidak and select “Find”.
- Review the videos and exclude anything you do not need.
- Choose video quality or MP3 audio settings and a destination folder.
- Add the selection to the queue and leave Vidak open until it completes.
A link copied while watching a video may include both watch and list parameters. Confirm in Vidak whether you want the single video or the entire playlist before starting.
Why use a download queue?
The queue gives every item its own status and prevents a single unavailable video from cancelling the rest. You can pause new downloads, resume later and retry only failed items. This is especially useful for long courses, creator archives and music collections.
Keep enough free disk space for the full selection. High-resolution video is much larger than MP3 audio, and temporary streams may briefly require extra room while FFmpeg merges them.
Keep a large download organized
Choose a dedicated destination folder before adding the playlist. Review filenames after the first few items, because the title is supplied by each uploader. For audio collections, select a consistent bitrate and check metadata before importing files into a library app.
